Air Safety Check Valves cut off air flow when a sudden change in flow associated with a hose or coupling failure is detected. Automatically triggers and resets. Not for use in applications where 100 percent of supplied air is required. Conforms to OSHA 1926.302(b)(7) requiring a safety device at the source of air supply lines 1/2 inch or greater.

Cut off flow rate should be 110 percent greater than the draw of the tool to prevent accidental shut off incidents.

Nylon Hose Restraints: 1 and 2 Ply

Nylon hose safety restraints (or choker cables) slip over the hose coupling and cinch tight, providing versatile means of safety and protection. In the event that a hose connection fails, the Nylon restraint will hold the hose in check, preventing extremely dangerous hose whip and containing hazardous spills. Please consult the chart for size range and pressure rating. Install with no slack. Make figure-8 double loop ends on small diameter hose for best retention.

Product Length is the loop-to-loop length at the median of its hose size range

Replace every 2 years when in outdoor or harsh environments

Nylon Hose Restraints: Heavy Grade

Heavy Grade Nylon Hose Restraints are designed for elevated working pressures and larger diameter hose applications. Simply cinch each loop tight around the hose to provide reliable, tested, hose safety. In the event of a hose connection failure, our HD nylon restraints will hold the hose in check. This prevents extremely dangerous hose whip and contain hazardous spills.

The first length shown is the true end to end without loops. Second length shown is the average working length at the median hose in the restraint’s size range. Consult the chart for working length, size range and pressure rating. Install with no slack.
