Hose Choker Cable Restraints are designed to safely secure hose assemblies from failure in higher pressure service. Reduce the risk of injury caused by hose failure and accidental disconnection by installing hose choker cables at each connection. The hose cable choker’s unique design utilizes a nylon spool at each loop-end that allows it to cinch tighter around an unchecked hose. This not only holds the hose in place, but can also significantly reduce flow until the pressure can be relieved at its source. In hazardous chemical service this can also significantly reduce spray and spill areas.

We offer Cable Chokers in sizes from 3/32 cable up to 1/2 inch cable, for a hose range from 1/4 inch through 8 inch (inside diameter). Custom cables can be fabricated to your specific application allowing for increased pressure capability, length adjustments, and hook ends for hose frequently disconnected from equipment. our new Quick Check cable ends can be provided for applications where disconnection and draining of a hose system are problematic. This type of end is also beneficial in panel-mount installations.

Air and compressible gases are rated at 1/2 pressure rating of fluid such as water or hydraulic oil. Please consult the pressure chart carefully and discuss unique applications with us to maximize security and minimize failure risk, Improperly selected or installed hose restraints can be as hazardous as an unchecked hose failure.
